ART4FUTURE uses the provided or otherwise obtained information by the vendor, bidder or any other person involved or interested in a contractual agreement ("customers"), including personal information as listed below (hereinafter "customer information"), to provide services in the field of auctions, art, publications, transportation and insurance, as well as all necessary actions linked to the fulfilment of its contractual obligations and rights, to the compliance with legal or regulatory requirements.
Personal information about a customer particularly include its name, contact details, proof of identity, financial information, records of transactions and preferences.
ART4FUTURE may also use customer information for its own marketing purposes, as long as it can claim a legitimate interest in doing so and as long as the customer has not objected to such use.
Some customer information may be collected to provide better services alligned to customer’s preferences.
If the customer provides ART4FUTURE with information that is considered sensitive in terms of the European data protection regulations, the customer expressively agrees to its usage for the above-mentioned purposes.

Data recipient

ART4FUTURE may forward customer information to the other party of the agreement, to its representative or a third party involved.
During this process of disclosure, personal data may also be forwarded to other countries, the European Union or the European Economic Area. Your data can be entered manually using a third-party software or imported via an interface. Based on the data provided, we may recognize other pieces of art that could meet your criteria. The recognition of relevant pieces of art can be provided manually or automatically by a software. We may inform you about such matches by email, postal letter or phone call. You have the possibility to unsubscribe from this service at any time.

Contact by email

By contacting us via email for any kind of questions or to benefit from one of our offers you expressively consent to our contact. For this, a valid email address is essential in order to register your inquiry and to provide you with the requested answer. Any other data is optional. The information you provide will be stored in the purpose of processing your inquiry and for any occurring follow-up questions. All this data will not be transmitted without your explicit consent.

Subscription to the newsletter

You may subscribe to our company's newsletter using the form provided or by sending us an email. The confirmation will be email to the provided address together with the first newsletter using a double-opt-in procedure. We do everything to provide you with our newsletter using a software compliant to the latest data protection.
At all time you have the possibility to unsubscribe from our newsletter. There is a corresponding link to unsubscribe in every newsletter. Purchasing through the online shop

You can buy pieces of art through our online shop. To do so, you should leave your complete contact details. This includes your name, address, phone number as well as your email address. Other personal data, that may be stored as part of the purchase, are your IP address as well as your credit card number.
Since the shop is hosted by Shopify, you can log in using an existing user account and complete the purchase using the information you have stored there. Shopify puts great emphasis in protecting your personal data and has the technology to internationally protect your personal data. By default and for the possible event of a reverse booking, Shopify does not delete personal data if the client has placed an order within the last 6 months.
ART4FUTURE will process your contact details to ensure the correct delivery of the goods. Therefore, ART4FUTURE will forward your contact information (name, delivery address) to the seller (the artist). This is vital in order to send the artwork, as ART4FUTURE only mediates artwork without storing it.
